Pall Mall Barbers, this October had the esteemed pleasure of taking our illustrious pop-up barbershop to the Rockefeller Concourse in Manhattan, New York. The pop-up barbershop was out in celebration of our 1st year of trade at Pall Mall Barbers Rockefeller Center. The Manhattan Barbers is based on the first floor of the Rock Center – and the aesthetic design of the store is a nod to the traditional barbershop fittings and stylings of the original Trafalgar Square store, established in 1896.
Visitors to the pop-up were treated to a complimentary haircut, followed by a friction scalp massage. The service and theatre of the pop-up were incredibly popular, trending on Twitter in New York and shared widely on Instagram with visitors in awe and surprise. Demand was incredible, and the team consisting of Pall Mall Barber’s general manager Dan Davies and New York resident master barbers Israel and Omar were kept busy, carrying out countless gentlemen’s haircuts over the duration. The team has been the talk of Manhattan thanks to the superb service and remarkable talents on show at our pop-up, and have been inundated with bookings as a result.
